Terms & Conditions

1) Acceptance of these Terms

By accessing or using this website (the “Site”), you agree to these Terms & Conditions and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please don’t use the Site.

2) Who May Use the Site

You must be 13 years or older (or the age of digital consent in your region) to use the Site. If you create an account or submit information, you represent that you have the authority to do so and that the information is accurate.

3) Accounts & Security

Some features may require creating an account (for example, with our scheduling or membership platform). You’re responsible for keeping your login confidential and for all activity under your account. We may suspend or terminate access if we suspect misuse or a violation of these Terms.

4) Purchases, Payments & Third-Party Services

Bookings, memberships, gift cards, and other purchases may be processed by third parties (e.g., Vagaro, Wix, Stripe/Square/PayPal). Their terms and privacy policies apply in addition to ours. Prices, taxes, fees, availability, and promotional offers shown on the Site are subject to change at any time.
We reserve the right to correct errors or cancel an order if a price, description, or availability was inaccurate—even after submission—if permitted by law. If we do, we’ll issue a refund of amounts you paid for the canceled portion.

5) Changes to the Site & Services

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Site, features, or content at any time. We may also update these Terms occasionally; the “Effective date” shows the latest version. Continued use of the Site after updates means you accept the changes.

6) Intellectual Property

All content on the Site—including text, graphics, logos, icons, images, video, and layout—is owned by or licensed to The Skin Haus and protected by U.S. and international IP laws. You may view and print content for personal, non-commercial use only.
You may not copy, modify, distribute, create derivative works, publicly display, or use our content, trademarks, or brand elements without written permission.

7) Your Content (Reviews, Messages, Submissions)

If you submit reviews, comments, images, or other materials (“User Content”), you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, display, and distribute that content on the Site and our social channels, solely to operate and promote the business. You represent that you own or have rights to the content you submit and that it doesn’t infringe others’ rights or contain unlawful material. We may remove User Content at our discretion.

8) Acceptable Use (Please Don’t…)

You agree not to:

  • use the Site in any unlawful or fraudulent way;

  • attempt to access accounts or data that aren’t yours;

  • introduce viruses, bots, or other harmful code;

  • scrape, harvest, or bulk-collect data from the Site;

  • post or transmit content that is defamatory, harassing, hateful, obscene, or infringing.

9) Links to Other Sites

The Site may link to third-party websites or services we don’t control. We’re not responsible for their content, terms, or privacy practices. Review their policies before using them.

10) No Medical Claims; Informational Only

Content on the Site is for general information about our studio and services. It is not medical advice and shouldn’t replace guidance from a licensed healthcare provider.

11) Disclaimers (Site Provided “As Is”)

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Site and all content are provided “as is” and “as available.” We make no warranties—express or implied—about accuracy, availability, or fitness for a particular purpose. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.

12) Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, The Skin Haus and its owner will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits/revenue, arising from your use of the Site—even if advised of the possibility. Our total liability for any claim related to the Site will not exceed the amount you paid (if any) to use the Site in the 3 months before the claim.

13) Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless The Skin Haus and its owner from claims, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising from your misuse of the Site, your violation of these Terms, or your infringement of any third-party rights.

14) Copyright Concerns (DMCA-Style Notice)

If you believe material on the Site infringes your copyright, please email missy@theskinhausesthetics.com with: (a) your contact info; (b) a description and URL of the material; (c) a statement that you have a good-faith belief the use isn’t authorized; (d) a statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information is accurate and you’re the copyright owner or authorized to act; and (e) your signature (electronic is fine).

15) Governing Law & Venue

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Washington, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. You agree that any dispute related to the Site will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in King County, Washington, and you consent to their jurisdiction.

16) Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Site at any time, with or without notice, if we believe you violated these Terms or for any reason. Sections that by nature should survive termination (e.g., IP, Disclaimers, Liability, Governing Law) will continue to apply.

17) Entire Agreement; Severability

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, are the entire agreement regarding your use of the Site. If any provision is deemed invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full force.
