Post Care
Sugar Waxing
-
First 24–48 hours: keep the area cool and dry. Avoid hot showers, saunas, workouts, tanning beds, tight clothing, and swimming.
-
Hands off: no touching or scratching; clean pillowcases and loose fabrics are your friends.
-
After 48–72 hours: begin gentle exfoliation 2–3×/week and hydrate daily.
-
Ingrowns: use your FUR routine (Concentrate/Silk Scrub) as directed.
-
Sun: SPF daily; no direct sun on freshly waxed skin.
-
If irritated: cool compress + bland moisturizer. Message me if redness or bumps persist beyond 48 hours.
Spray Tanning
-
First rinse: lukewarm water only (no soap). Pat dry, no rubbing.
-
For 72 hours: avoid oils, AHAs/BHAs, retinoids, and long hot soaks/saunas.
-
Moisturize nightly: lotion helps color last and fade evenly.
-
Water & sweat: brief showers are fine; blot sweat, don’t wipe.
-
Clothing & sheets: dark, loose fabrics until after your first rinse.
-
Maintenance: avoid exfoliation until you’re ready to remove the tan; then use a mitt for an even reset.
Lash & Brows
-
Keep dry 24 hours: no water, steam, sauna, or heavy sweating.
-
After 24 hours: brush brows/lashes daily; avoid oils on the eye/brow area.
-
Lash lifts/tints: skip waterproof mascara; use a gentle, oil-free cleanser.
-
Lash extensions: cleanse lashes daily with a lash-safe cleanser, avoid oils/steam, no picking or mechanical curlers.
-
Brow lamination: set brows in place after showering; nourish with a brow conditioner/serum.
-
Sensitivity: if redness or irritation lingers beyond 24–48 hours, message me.
Dermaplaning
-
First 24 hours: keep it simple, gentle cleanse, bland moisturizer, no makeup if possible. Avoid workouts, heat, and steam.
-
For 3–5 days: avoid retinoids, scrubs, peels, and strong acids (AHA/BHA).
-
Hydrate & protect: moisturize regularly and wear broad-spectrum SPF 30+ every day.
-
Hair removal: wait 48–72 hours before waxing/threading the face.
-
Tanning: avoid self-tanner the first 24 hours; book spray tans after dermaplaning, not before.
-
If sensitive: cool compress, fragrance-free moisturizer; reach out if irritation persists.
