1) What this policy covers

This policy explains what personal information we collect, how we use and share it, and your choices. It applies to our website, booking pages, messaging, and in-studio/mobile services.

2) Information we collect

  • You provide: name, contact details (email, phone), appointment notes, photos you choose to share, and messages you send us.

  • Booking & payments: when you book or pay through third parties (e.g., Vagaro, Wix, Stripe/Square/PayPal), they collect billing details and may share limited info back to us (e.g., contact, appointment time) so we can manage your booking. We do not store full payment card numbers on our servers.

  • Automatically via the site: cookies and similar technologies may collect device info, pages viewed, and approximate location to keep the site working and improve it.

  • Social & marketing: if you interact with us on Instagram/TikTok, or opt into email/SMS, we receive the info you share there.

3) How we use your information

  • Provide services: schedule and manage appointments, send confirmations/reminders, perform services, process payments, and provide support.

  • Communicate: respond to inquiries, send prep/aftercare, and, if you opt in, send promotions or membership updates (you can opt out anytime).

  • Improve & secure: maintain our website, analyze usage, and prevent fraud or misuse.

  • Legal & policy compliance: meet legal obligations and enforce our policies.

4) Sharing your information

We share information only as needed to run the business:

  • Service providers: website/hosting (e.g., Wix), scheduling (Vagaro), payments (e.g., Stripe/Square/PayPal), email/SMS tools, analytics, file storage, and maps for mobile visits.

  • Legal/compliance: to comply with laws, lawful requests, or protect rights, safety, and property.
    We do not sell your personal information.

5) Cookies & analytics

Our site (and providers like Wix/analytics tools) may use cookies and similar technologies to keep the site secure, remember preferences, and understand traffic. You can adjust browser settings to limit cookies; some features may not work without them.

6) Marketing choices

  • Email: click “unsubscribe” in any marketing email.

  • SMS: reply STOP to opt out of marketing texts. Service/appointment texts may still be sent when necessary.

  • Ads & social: manage ad preferences within each platform.

7) Data retention

We keep information as long as needed for appointments, records, legal requirements, and business operations. When it’s no longer needed, we delete or de-identify it according to our retention practices.

8) Your rights

Depending on your location (e.g., California), you may request to access, correct, or delete your personal information. To make a request, email missy@theskinhausesthetics.com or call/text 425-298-7594. We’ll verify your identity before acting on requests and may keep certain records as required by law.

9) Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect personal information. No system is 100% secure; please contact us right away if you believe your account or information has been compromised.

10) Children

Our services are for individuals 13+. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child provided information, contact us so we can remove it.

11) Third-party links

Our site may link to other websites or services. Their privacy practices are separate from ours; review their policies before sharing information.

12) Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date reflects the latest version. Material changes will be posted on this page.

  • Photo usage consent: We only share client photos with your express consent. You can withdraw consent at any time by contacting us.

  • Memberships: If you join Glow Club, we use your info to manage billing and plan benefits (handled through our payment/scheduling providers).

  • Mobile appointments: For on-site visits, we use your address solely for routing and mileage calculation; we don’t use it for marketing without your consent.​
